Many households struggle with keeping track of items stored across multiple spaces such as garages, storage rooms or basements. As the number of stored items grows, it becomes increasingly difficult to remember where things are located.
Existing solutions often rely on manual lists or spreadsheets that are not designed for everyday use. The goal of the project was to create a simple digital tool that helps people organize their belongings and quickly find stored items when needed.
We approached the product as a simple digital organizer for everyday household use.
The focus was to design an intuitive interface that allows users to add items quickly while keeping the system flexible enough for different types of storage spaces.
Our approach included:
Designing a structure for organizing items by rooms and locations
Creating a fast search system for finding items
Supporting item details such as photos, notes and quantities
Enabling inventory sharing between family members
Key capabilities behind the system:
Item inventory organized by rooms
Search by keywords or categories
Visual item records with images and details
Shared household inventories
Activity history and notifications about changes in inventory
We delivered a mobile application that enables users to create a digital inventory of their belongings.
The platform helps households organize storage spaces and quickly locate items when needed.
Key capabilities:
Room-based inventory organization
Search and filtering of stored items
Item details including photos, notes and quantities
Shared inventory between users
Activity history of changes in the inventory
Impact:
Simplifies organization of large households and storage spaces
Reduces time spent searching for items
Enables shared household organization
Creates a digital overview of stored belongings
This project demonstrates how mobile products can simplify everyday organization problems through intuitive digital tools.
